What is the maximum pressure of our sensor?

The maximum pressure of our SSiC sensor (QP015-UDP-SIC-LT) is 80 bar.
This is not officially tested, but tested during an indicative test. We could test it on higher pressures on request.

For higher pressures, like 600 or 6000 bar, we can create a SWC, Sensor Wafer Cell: the wafer cell is the sensor. We create a SS316 pipe and we fix the sensor inside the wafer cell. It is complex technology and more expensive and less accurate.

Our chemical sensors from PEEK (QP011) work best under atmosferic pressures, as pressure will change the physical properties of engineering plastics.

We hope this answer was sufficient. If you have more questions, please let us know.

The SSiC lap joint flange is stronger than any material. When fixing it to the stainless steel flange, do not over-tighten the value of the bolts. The maximum bolt value for M6 is 11,7 Nm. We recommend to keep the torque value below this value, say ...
